What Are In Our Vaccines ? Anyone!

Over the past few days I have received some comments on Facebook, about how good vaccines are and how they have saved many of lives. This may be true, but they also have hurt and caused deaths to many.

I know in my last blog I said I was going to talk about the over 20 vaccines that a required before the age of 4, My focused has changed for this post, we are actually going to discuss whats in the vaccines, and why they are making people sick.

So we are all told vaccines are safe, and are injected to protect us from diseases and certain sickness, but do you know what's inside these vaccines?

Vaccines are made of many harsh chemicals, for example Aluminum, Mercury, Formaldehyde and detergents, plus many other chemicals which all cause cancers, tumors, autism, and other medical issues including death. Our bodies house these toxin chemicals and in return these chemicals damage our bodies and brains.

Here is a great link that gives you the break down of what is in each vaccine, Its the most up to date breakdown that I can find online; http://www.healingourchildren.org/Are_Vaccine_Safe/excipient-table-2.pdf,

Now I hope you clicked the link and took a look through the pages, even if it was a quick glance you did, you would realize that almost every vaccine contains Aluminium, and Formaldehyde. These two chemicals are so toxic and here we are injecting our children with them.

Every vaccination is manufactured with the same volume and concentration in which is administered to adults and children, its not made for each child's needs, with saying this how do you know how much your body or your child's body can handle of each of these chemicals. For example a 2 month baby and I get all the recommended vaccines for a 2 month old. I have no reactions to the vaccines, but for the baby the build up of the Aluminum was just to much for its little body and now is suffering with seizures.

All I am trying to say is; what may not hurt one person may hurt or kill the next, so how do we fix it so that vaccines are truly safe, or safer ? Lets green the vaccine and take out the ingredients that cause all these life threatening side effects. Can the government and pharmaceutical companies do this?  I wish I had an answer for that.

Here are some links with evidence based information on how vaccines and or their chemical make up can and will cause health issues

Over the past few days I did however find a homeopathic vaccine that shows that it works and is clean from harsh chemicals that will not leave our children with long term side effects. Who knows this might be the happy medium for everyone. You can check out this natural vaccine by clicking on this link; http://littlemountainhomeopathy.wordpress.com/2010/01/27/homeopathic-immunizations-a-proven-alternative-to-vaccinations/

Yes my children were vaccinated, they have most of their required ejections, but if I would have known what I know now, I would have never even let them have one till they were old enough to make the choice themselves.  My youngest one is 4 and will not receive anymore vaccination. After her 18 month vaccinations we noticed a change in her behavior, she was more aggressiveness and more unstable, people actually would say to me how is Sybil today as that is how quick her attitude would change. Over the past few years she has since mellowed out a bit but she just is not the same child after that last vaccine. My second youngest is 5 and will not receive anymore either, as we also noticed a change in him after his last vaccination. He started to stumble on his words and became very clumsy, and would often get lost in his thoughts and would have a hard time getting his thoughts out. We are told know that he has DCD ( Developmental Coordination Disorder). Is this a reaction to vaccines nobody knews at this time.  As for my two older children who are girls will not get the HB or the HPV shot till they decide when and if they want it.

Our family is against vaccinations, as I am sure there are many others who are. For those who are all for vaccinations that is great, but please be informed before you vaccinate, read the articles and ask the questions, don't just assume that they are all good just because a Dr says so.

Here is some more links for more you to check out to help make a more informed decision on vaccinating or not to vaccinate.

Stay tuned as the next post will be part 2 of vaccinations.

Vaccinations! Are They More Harm Then Good

Last Friday I had a incredible day with my daughter. She was suppose to go to school that day, but she was not feeling well and wanted to stay home. That is also the day that they were doing Hepatitis vaccinations, which we opted out of.

My daughter knew that if she was staying home she will be having a lesson at home of some sort, as we use to be homeschoolers. So I decided to talk about vaccinations and how they could be good but how toxic they really are.

We went and got some lunch, brought it back home and clicked on this link; http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2011/10/30/the-greater-good.aspx . It was a link to a  documentary on vaccinations and how they effect our children. It was fate I swear that day, as it was also the last day that it was free to watch. If you click the link now, you will see a 2 minute trailer of the documentary.

As we sat there and watched this documentary I could not help but feel like I was lied to all these years, and how aweful I felt. I had my kids vaccinated and subjected them to these toxic cocktails; up until last year when my husband and I decided no more. This can not be good in the long run, and here I sit trying to get more parents informed before they vaccinate their children.

How these vaccinations can do more harm then good. These vaccines are filled with toxic chemicals that cause cancers, tumors, autism, diabetes, and hearing/vision loss and the list goes on and on.

I started this post a few days ago and here I sit finding more and more information about side effects of vaccinations that I actually feel overwhelmed and want to scream at these Doctors.  They are trying to jam these vaccination into our babies as fast as they can, STOP!  I just want them to stop and ask the parents do you know the possible side effects, but instead we get told that they are safe and we believe them as they wouldn't tell us anything different as they are the Dr, and they know what is best, right?

Well that's where we are wrong, we as parents need to realize that money rules our world, and the pharmaceutical companies have the world wrapped around its sweet needle ejection hands. You got to remember every vaccination that the Dr. gives he gets money for, and some Dr's do not even know about all the side effects. So as parent we need to do the research and don't be afraid to ask questions to your doctor, nurses, other parents, and find the information to make an educated choice for you and your family.

Over the next few weeks I will do series of blog posts dedicated to vaccinations; to help parents find the information that they need before they get their children vaccinated.

Within the next day or two I will post my first of the series in which I will discuss the over 20 vaccinations that you are required to administer to your children before the age of 4. I know you will be disgusted and overwhelmed as I was.

Thank you for reading

HAPPY HALLOWEEN !

When black cats prowl and pumpkins gleam,

May luck be yours on Halloween.

~Author Unknown

A BRIEF THOUGHT OF HALLOWEEN

The Celts believed the souls of the dead roamed the streets and villages at night. Since not all spirits were thought to be friendly, gifts and treats were left out to pacify the evil and ensure next years crops would be plentiful. This custom evolved into trick-or-treating.

How far we have come from the origin of Halloween, from witches, goblins and warlocks to dismembered body parts in our yard to dressing up as the main killer in a horror film. Do you think that Halloween has gone to far with the gore, and horror ?

In our house we celebrate Halloween, It is the best holiday of the year for us. We all love to dress up and have a good scare. The thing is most houses decorate with more gore then scare. I find myself more grossed out then scared when I go out Trick or Treating with my kids. I just wished to see more creepy stuff, like things that go bump in the night, howling nosies, creepy shadows, things flying around, mysterious movements, wondering if a ghost, warewolf, or Vampire is watching over you as you are about to knock on the door to get your next trick or treat.

THE SWITCH WITCH, WHAT TO DO WITH HALLOWEEN CANDY

This year we are trying something different with our children this Halloween. Have you ever heard of the Switch Witch?

The Switch Witch comes to your house, and switches all the candy that the child leaves out for in exchange for a little toy, book, or stickers, whatever the switch which decides. This is to help get rid of some or a good portion of the candy.

Here is a great link that tells how it is done, and the story behind it all, http://www.achildgrows.com/2009/10/21/the-switch-witch-what-to-do-with-halloween-candy/

We told our children about the switch witch, and they loved the idea of leaving some candy out for the Switch Witch, but we add our own little twist to this little trick!

BOYCOTT NESTLE

Our little twist to the Switch Witch trick is that we told our children that the switch witch only wants the candy that is made from nestle. This is to help support the International Nestle Free Week, runs from October 31 - November 6, 2011 this year.

Why Boycott Nestle you say?

Nestle claimed last year that their formula was the GOLD STANDARD in INFANT NUTRITION, when we all know that BREAST MILK IS THE GOLD STANDARD IN INFANT NUTRITION ! You can find more information on the Boycott of Nestle and how you can help support this campaign by clicking this link,

What Are We Going To Do With The Candy From Nestle!

We are going to box it up with a nice note to Nestle and send it back to them :) I wonder what they will think? Really do I care what they think? NO. I will defiantly keep you posted if I ever hear back from them once I send out the package.

HAVE A SAFE AND NESTLE FREE HALLOWEEN :)

A Beautiful Birth Story

On my way out to a family event, I get called away as this is the life of a Doula. I rush back home and grab my doula bag and head over to my clients house where she is laboring.

I walk in to there house, it is dim, and calm, and I find her in her bathroom in her big soaking tub, nervous as can be trying to stay calm. I immediately sit beside her and hold her hand and say I am here and the four of us will get through this together. (Mom and dad to be, baby, and I )

We chatted a bit on how she was feeling, and she quickly started to relax more allowing her body to go through what it need to, to help birth this baby.

Her husband and I encouraged her to eat some soup, and to drink some water, to help keep her body strong, and nourished through out this beautiful transition into becoming a mommy.

About 10 minutes after she ate, it all came back up, and because she was in the comfort in her own home she didn't even care. Her husband and I got her out of  the tub and straight into the shower that was in the same bathroom. As her husband and I cleaned out the tub she was taking to her baby in the shower to help her stay calm. " Its OK baby, we can do this, they are almost done cleaning the tub and we can go back in, lets work together" It was truly amazing how well she was doing and watching her bond with her baby before he/she arrived.

Once the tub was cleaned we filled it back up and she got right back in there and continued to talk to her baby. I was actually jealous at this point as I wished I had known about laboring at home with my own babies, because if I did, I would want it to be the way she was doing at this moment. So calm and in love with her birth and baby, it was so beautiful to be part of it.

After a few hours of laboring in the tub and continuous talking to her baby, as her husband kept her calm with getting her water, and giving her homeopathic remedies I knew it was time to call the midwife, as she was showing signs of active labor for more then an hour.

The midwife came into the house so quietly and came up to the bathroom where we were and without turning on the bright lights we all talked about what was going on and from that point the midwife checked her and gave her news that yep she is in active labor and now it was up to her, if she wanted to continue to labor at home or start making the way to the hospital.

This beautiful laboring mom was coping so well with her labor, that she was scared to have to do the 40 minute drive to the hospital. The midwife and I told her she could just stay home and have her baby, and she wanted to but dad was unsure of the idea, so for everyone's peace of mind she agreed to go to the hospital. I told her at this point to keep talking to your baby while in the car, this is working for you and your baby, your working together, and that is what you need to get you through this drive.

Once we were at the hospital, we got the Jacuzzi ready for her and got her back in the water, and we tried to recreate the same atmosphere that she had at home, with a quiet calm room with the lights dimmed.

At this point I could not believe what I was seeing, a laboring mother talking with her baby and how they both were listening to each other, and working so well together, with no medical interventions at this point, no IVs, no pain meds, no continuous monitoring and not one ounce of fear in this mom to be.

She was a woman who loved to labor in the water with calm voices and a zen atmosphere, she found her birthing ritual which was talking to her baby with no one touching her while she was having a big hug from her uterus. (contraction)

It was about three hours later that the midwife want to check her progress, and at this time this we found out that her progress was a little on the slow side and the baby was nice and low, and the bag of waters was bulging, so the midwife talked about breaking the waters, the benefits and the side effects of this procedure. At this point the baby was happy, mom was coping well, so their thought was if they break her waters it will most likely move her labor faster so she can meet this bundle of joy sooner. After some discussion with her husband they decided to let the midwife break her waters on one condition that she gets to go back into the water.

The Midwife broke her waters at 12:12am, and by 12:25 she was back in the Jacuzzi back in her zen mode. I was still stunned how well she and her baby were working together and how calm she was and how she was so filled with love with this whole birthing experience, it was the most amazing feeling in that room. I can not even explain it in words.

After a short while, maybe a half hour after her waters was broke she looked up at me with a vulnerable look on her face and said to me in a very quite voice, Malissa I don't know if I can do this anymore, I just want him out now. I took her hand and looked into her eyes, and quietly whispered to her, you can do this honey and guess what you are doing it, your a birthing your baby so beautifully and so calmly it is an honor to be her with you, now I know your tired so rest in between and keep talking to your baby and work together, you are doing a wonderful job.

Her husband was such a good support person, he would bring her drinks, and would make sure she would nibble on a arrowroot cookie to make sure her sugar levels would not drop, he would also reminded her to sip her water as he would stroke her hair away from her face. He respect her space and backed off when she was having a contraction. He was not afraid to show affection to her when she needed it, with a hug, or a gentle kiss. These two people were so in sink with each other it was a rare thing to see. Both so calm and working well and knowing what each one wanted with out words.

It was around 1:20 when the midwife and I noticed her movements changed and her moans changed, they went from a smooth movement and sound, to a more intense baring down movement and sound, so the midwife checked her and sure enough this laboring woman was fully dilated and ready to birth this baby.

We got her to her feet, and as we stepped out of the tub she tells her baby, just to hold one for a few more minutes mom, has to get to the bed before you come and see me, and sure enough, she had a little surge of energy to make her way to her room, and up on to the bed.

This mamma did an amazing job at working this baby out, she listened to her body and her baby, and after only an hour an a little bit she had a beautiful baby boy.

Mom and baby had skin to skin right after birth and tears were flowing from dad and mom, and yep of course from the Doula as well.

Mom was breastfeeding and baby took to the breast without any issue what so ever, she was calm and just so relaxed and just talked with her baby, they were working together through this whole process with no interference from anyone, just mom and baby.

This birth was so remarkable, how a mom took control of her birth, and trusted her body, listened to her body and her baby to get through such a journey together.

Her birthing team was awesome too, Thank you to the dad for doing such a great job in supporting her, and thank you to the midwife who stood by her wishes for an un-medicated birth.

I hope many women will read this birth story and find in there self's the confidence to birth there babies with out fear, and to know you just need to relax, breath and talk to your baby, and that they are all strong no matter how they birth their babies, as it takes a strong person to house a baby for nine months, and to birth a baby and to be a mom :)

Thank you for reading.
